 On the 30th of September 2008 at the Hotel New Otani Tokyo “Sirius Room” the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) held their 4th Ordinary Congress and the 25th and 26th Executive Committee Meeting.
Following the Ordinary Congress Mr. Max vanden Doel from adidas announced adidas’ warm support at an official signing ceremony.
Furthermore, the items decided upon from the Ordinary Congress are as follows:

(1)Approval of the 2006-2008.8 activity report
(2)Approval of the 2006, 2007 budgets
(3)Approval of the Northern Mariana Islands transition from quasi-association to association
(4)Approval of the 2008-2010 executive committee

 ・East Asian Football Federation Championship Semi-Final Tournament
  Time, Venue: August 2009, Chinese Taipei
 ・East Asian Football Federation Women’s Championship Semi-Final Tournament
  Time, Venue: August 2009, Chinese Taipei
 ・East Asian Football Federation Championship Finals, East Asian Football Federation Women’s Championship Finals Tournament
  Time, Venue: 2010, Japan

(2)As for the host of the 2009 EAFF FUTSAL Championship it will be decided at the next Executive Committee Meeting.

(3)The 27th Executive Committee Meeting will be held in December 2008 in Tokyo.
