Tokyo: Former Japan international midfielder Tsukasa Shiotani has returned to the J-League to sign for Sanfrecce Hiroshima after leaving Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.
Shiotani, who was part of the Samurai Blue squad that reached the final of the AFC Asian Cup in the UAE in 2019, has gone back to Hiroshima four years after making the switch to Al Ain from the Japanese club.
The 32-year-old previously won three J-League titles with Hiroshima under current Japan head coach Hajime Moriyasu, who led the club to domestic success in 2012, 2013 and 2015. .....
