ASIAN FOOTBALL is strong, but must be STRONGER... ASIAN FOOTBALL must be UNITED!!!
Asian football's future lies with the outcome of upcoming election at AFC Extraordinary Congress in Kuala Lumpur on 2 May 2013.
At today's East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) 38th Executive Committee meeting, the East Asian Football Federation unanimously decided that EAFF will support ONE candidate, based on the following criteria:
a) Integrity & Honesty
b) Confederation Interest
c) Clear Vision
d) Strong Leadership
a) Integrity & Honesty
Our next President must lead AFC in full transparency. He must be highly respected by not only all AFC members, but by all FIFA members.
b) Confederation Interest
Our next President must act in the best interest of entire Asia of all 47 members, not in the interest of individual federation or individual Member Association.
c) Clear vision
Our next President must bring Asian football to next level as more stronger Asian teams to join the FIFA World Cup competition. Development of grassroot football must be maximized so Asian football will reach world class level.
d) Strong Leadership
Our next President must possess strong leadership in uniting all 47 members. Deployment of resources must be fair for the development of football as well as to aim for winning the FIFA World Cup in the near future.
Furthermore, EAFF Exco also agreed to fully support North Korean candidate, Ms. Han Un-gyong for AFC female Exco seat at May 2nd election.
