The East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) held their General Assembly according to the below schedule.
The meeting opened with speeches from Asian Football Confederation (AFC) president Mohammed Bin Hamam and Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) General Secretary Wowari Makudi.
The General Assembly’s agenda and action points were as below:

(1)Regarding the East Asian Football Championships 2010 Finals Competition/ East Asian Women’s Football Championships 2010 Finals Competition
1)The DPR Korea women’s team were unable to send a team to Japan due to circumstances not because they withdrew so no penalty will apply.
2)The value of planned friendly internationals was discussed by the Japan Football Association and the Korea Rep. Football Association.
(2)The schedule and preparations for the East Asian Football Championships 2012/ East Asian Women’s Football Championships and the East Asian Football Championships 2014/ East Asian Women’s Football Championships 2014 were discussed.
(3)A discussion regarding financial difficulties between 2009-2014 was held. Also the budgets for 2009 and 2010’s projection were approved.
(4)Regarding the establishment of a general corporation it was approved for Chairman Ogura to extend his contract until March 2011.
(5)A decision was made to give the emergency donation funds (USD20,000) for the Haiti Earthquake to the damaged area via the Japan Red Cross.
(6)It was confirmed the EAFF, with cooperation from each member association, will help the China Football Association in their efforts to crack down on corruption and scandal.
